Specialist APS system required to improve capacity management
Preactor International, the world’s leading specialist planning and scheduling Software Company, announces a major business win with Adada & Kabbani, a leading Saudi Arabian specialist modular furniture manufacturer.
Part of the SAR 3 billion turnover IKK Group which consists of 15 specialised companies in the field of construction, manufacturing and servicing, Adada & Kabbani itself has a 2009 turnover of SAR 70 million and has built an important position within the Saudi Arabian and International markets. The company sees its investment in Preactor’s production planning and scheduling technology as a vital part of this strategy as General Manager and co-founder Yahya Adada explains.
“Our biggest challenge is capacity planning and our own ERP system cannot deal with the capacity planning complexities of our business processes. What we required was a dedicated standalone solution that had been developed specifically to manage the complex planning and scheduling challenges that manufacturers like ourselves require.”
He continues, “Preactor perfectly fulfils our requirements and has a long reputation of providing specialist solutions that can integrate in a complementary fashion with existing ERP systems. We see Preactor as a means to get the best from our ERP system and from the business as a whole.”
The implementation is currently underway and being handled primarily by Preactor India. P J Yogesh, General Manager of Preactor India comments on the business win.

The project is due to go-live and start delivering immediate benefits in May 2010.
